Time：11:00〜12:30 Place：早稲田奉仕園 キリスト教会館６階２号室 Guest：アメリカ人（男性） 今回は、アメリカのゴア元副大統領が出演し、アカデミー賞も受賞したドキュメンタリー映画「不都合な真実」についてお話を聞きました。 アメリカでは、環境問題に関心のある人は増えてきたけれど、日頃何らかのアクションをしている人は少ないこと、日本のように、環境を考えたリサイクルのためにフリーマーケットを開くことはまれで、アメリカのガレージセールは不用品を売ってお金を稼ぐことを目的にしている、などの実態を聞きました。また、日本が生んだ「もったいない」という言葉は、まだ一般の人には知られていないようだ、とのことでした。「もったいない」キャンペーンは、まだまだ持続させなければいけないようです。 ゲストスピーカーからメッセージが届きました。 Hi class, It was very nice to speak with your class over the weekend. Their English is very good. I have written a few ideas for your students. I am sorry if I did not understand everyone's name, but I have written their comments in the order I talked to them. Try using this phrase: I appreciate you_______. For example: I appreciate you calling me. I appreciate you washing the dishes last night. You speak English very well. Remember you need an AN before vowel sounds. I will call you in AN hour. This is AN apple. I work in AN office. Please pay attention to your L and R pronounciation. Also, remember that woemn use the pronoun SHE, and men use the pronoun HE. You can use the future tense: I WILL eat dinner at home tonight. I WILL pass the phone to the next person. Also, correct English is: I am looking (not watching) at your resume. I am looking at the website. You used the phrase "By the way," ... That's good English!! You speak English very well. You said, "Soeday I'd like to go to New York to see the Broadway musical Rent." That's a great sentence! good work! Please remember your articles: I watched *A* movie called "Desert." You can use the past perfect tense (I + HAVE + PAST PARTICIPLE): "I've never seen this type of technology." Great job to the class! I hope we can speak again soon. 日曜講座は3/18（日）開催となります。お間違えのないようご参加ください。 Time：14:00〜17:00 Place：港区立生涯学習センター ２階和室 Guest：アメリカ人（男性）、イギリス人（男性） Topics：14:00〜15:00 3時間たっぷり「語学留学」したい人のためのインテンシブ・ディスカッションです。少人数グループで活動。グループ別に、最近の国内外のニュース等をテーマに英語で話し合います。初回参加者の方は、外国人ゲストと１対１で自己紹介する時間を設けます。 15:00〜17:00 テーマ活動・・・先月に続き、ピースボートOBのイギリス人ゲストを招き、ピースボートが訪問する世界の国々と日本の比較、外国の生活を体験するためのゲームなどを行います。 当日は、「世界がもし100人の村だったら」を題材に、人口の割合や水不足の問題などを、小グループに分かれて話し合いました。 資料には、こちらのページを使用しました。 http://users.gazinter.net/melan/Warn/Warnenu.htm 当日の活動風景   >>月別リストに戻る |
